Reviews- Filmschoolrejects.com: You’re likely to be pleasantly surprised by its personality, thrills, and resourcefulness.
- Fangirlish.com: This is peak cinema that didn’t take itself too seriously and opened the doorway for sequels.
- Culturess.com: What appealed to me in the movie was the strong dynamic between three compelling female characters. Another highlight is the plane accident itself.
- Aisleseat.com: You’ll be entertained by all the unapologetic mayhem in No Way Up. It is what it is – a cheerfully implausible thrill ride.
- Times-herald.com: A silly night out at the movies, it will be unnerving and even frightening in places.
- Blu-ray.com: Capable of raising hell, especially in such a claustrophobic setting.
Gunner
- Action
- Available on VOD: 22 augustus 2024
- Director: Dimitri Logothetis
- Cast: Morgan Freeman (The Dark Knight Rises, Se7en), Luke Hemsworth (Thor saga, Westworld, Land of Bad), Grant Feely (Five Nights at Freddy's)
War veteran Colonel Lee Gunner takes his two sons on a fishing trip with their uncle Jon, to reconnect with them after being at the battlefront for so long. The trip turns awry when Jon stumbles over a tripwire and sets off an explosion, alerting a gang of violent bikers in the midst of a massive drug operation. Not anticipating Gunner’s elite combat skills, the gang members are taken out one by one. The boys try to escape for help, but end up right in the arms of Dobbs, the son of kingpin Kendric Ryker (Morgan Freeman) who runs the organization from prison. With no one but himself to retaliate, an enraged Gunner wreaks havoc to rescue his two sons, until he gets to the top and confronts Ryker. You don’t cross Gunner.
Reviews- Gazettely.com: Freeman adds his trademark gravitas and cunning edge. It’s easy to see why he was cast.
- Moviesr.net: As previously noted, if you're a fan of action-packed films, "Gunner" could be a great pick for your weekend watch. The movie delivers high-octane sequences and intense confrontations that action enthusiasts will likely find engaging and thrilling.
American Dreamer
- Comedy
- Available on VOD: 29 augustus 2024
- Director: Paul Dektor
- Cast: Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Station Agent), Shirley MacLaine (Steel Magnolias, Terms of Endearment), Matt Dillon (There's Something About Mary, The House That Jack Built), Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon)

A lonely widow (Shirley Maclaine) offers up her sprawling estate for pennies and he’ll inherit the whole thing as soon as she passes! However when he moves in, Phil quickly learns that she hasother plans for him . .
Reviews- Hollywoodreporter.com: Peter Dinklage and Shirley MacLaine make an appealing odd couple, they're a joy to watch. But it also has many hilarious moments thanks to Melfi's witty screenplay featuring a plethora of very funny one-liners especially delivered to perfection by the two stars.
- RogerEbert.com: Immensely entertaining. Director Paul Dektor's empathy and heart dwell in the right place for a story ultimately asking the questions of what one needs to be happy, how far we are willing to go to achieve it, and what role does loneliness play in these life-altering decisions?
- Observer.com: Fresh, original, unpredictable and unexpectedly funny.
- ScreenRant.com: Does a tremendous job of exploring one man's American dream, the lengths he must go to achieve it, and what is waiting for him once he reaches that goal.
- Deadline.com: Consistently and wryly funny, powered by Dinklage who shows no vanity in making Phil quite a human disaster as nothing seems to be going right.
- Rogersmovienation.com: There’s just too much fun here to miss. Dinklage wears this role as easily as any he’s taken, and he clicks with Dillon, Glover, Quinn, Pudi and especially MacLaine.
- Theepochtimes.com: An ideal balance of droll, bone-dry, quirky absurdness, some spare pratfall and slapstick, and surprising amounts of authentically touching drama.
