Reviews- Sonic-cinema.com:Â Â Director Stefan Colson uses economical set ups and production values to good effect in this film; even if it starts a bit rough, he smooths it out as the story gets along (that includes the performances), and the result is a solid western programmer.
- Voicesfromthebalcony.com: Ghosts of Red Ridge does look good, a conventional tale of lawmen and outlaws in the old west.

TAKE COVER is a relentless, pulsepounding action thriller that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
- Anygoodfilms.com: Take Cover admirably demonstrates yet again Scott Adkins action star credentials are beyond reproach and far above many of his contemporaries.
- Avforums.com: High concept action romp that delivers the goods.
- Bloodbrothersfilms.com: It's highly entertaining, moves like lightning, and never loses sight that the action and narrative must serve its concept.
- Blu-ray.com: Blasts of action do register as intended. Adkins also receives a chance to show off his thespian skills, handling the complexity of Sam with care.
- Bulletproofaction.com: Take Cover has all the elements that will appeal to the action crowd, but plenty of other strong points that may appeal to a larger audience.
- Eyeforfilm.co.uk: Engaging characters and expertly delivered action. Adkins does a remarkably good job of making Sam feel like a real, genuinely troubled human. Take Cover is nicely put together and a lot of fun to watch.
- Gazettely.com: Tight, suspenseful direction from McKinless within a single setting. Adkins owns the leading role with action prowess and nuanced drama.
- Markreviewsmovies.com: Effective as a suspenseful thriller with bursts of brutal action and a compelling lead performance.
- Voicesfromthebalcony.com: an enjoyable action film that should lead to more director's gigs for McKinless.Â
