Als zondebok van een vuil politiek spelletje, leeft ex-marinier Vincent Reikker (Louis Mandylor - My Big Fat Greek Wedding 1 & 2, One in the Chamber) al jaren ondergedoken. Samen met zijn team specialisten levert hij – vaak met tegenzin – diensten als huurling. Wanneer een smokkelopdracht hem naar een afgelegen magazijn brengt, blijkt al snel dat het om een valstrik gaat. Opgejaagd door hightech gevechtsrobotten, moet zijn team alles uit de kast halen om te overleven. Intussen kijken hooggeplaatste partijen geïnteresseerd mee. Een live wapendemo verkoopt immers stukken beter dan een droge productbeschrijving…

In de beste traditie van The A-Team en The Expendables, bindt een bont gezelschap van outcasts de strijd aan met een – letterlijk – gewetenloze tegenstander. Mens versus machine in een explosieve actiefilm boordevol suspens, adrenaline en zwarte humor.

• Action-flix.com: Mandylor is in true action hero mode. Battle Drone is an epic indie action blast!
• Bulletproofaction.com: Battle Drone did not have the star power of The Expendables or even some of the other movies inspired by the Stallone franchise, but what Battle Drone did have was plenty of video game style action jammed into the 93 minute runtime. I thought the cast had good chemistry and the movie progressed at an entertaining pace. Battle Drone also had a satisfying ending that left the door open for Rekker and company to see more action in the future.
• Filmcombatsyndicate.blogspot.nl: For Battle Drone, Gould serves a consistent, solid leading man in Mandylor along with Parè and actress Swain. It's damn good fun!

• Vanessasnonspoilers.com: It has the potential to pave the way for more films in this subgenre, exploring the depths of fear and psychological terror even further. Overall, The Puppetman is a great horror movie enlisting a new type of evil power to contend with.

Een doodgeboren meisje, Tess, wordt ontvoerd door een medewerker van het mortuarium en tot leven gebracht door elektrokinetische energie. Het lijkt erop dat de kinetische energie die haar terugbracht haar ook de mogelijkheid gaf om elektriciteit met haar geest te beheersen. Op haar zestiende verjaardag weet ze te ontsnappen en ze besluit op zoek te gaan naar haar biologische moeder waarbij ze een spoor van dood en verderf achter zich laat.

• Joblo.com: Kayleigh Gilbert, who did a terrific job in the role of Tess, her performance complimented by the fact that she has a great look for the part. 7/10.
• 28dayslateranalysis.com: Full of interesting scenes and outlandish deaths, Reborn is a horror thriller for those seeking out something a bit refreshing.
• Eyeforfilm.co.uk: We get a playfully formulaic story involving protectiveness, revenge, spectacular deaths (some of which feel richly deserved) and investigation.
• Horrorhothousereview.wordpress.com: Crampton makes a fair fist of the older woman film star determined to fight her way back while still saddled with an overarching sense of loss while Gilbert appears superbly deranged as the girl determined to sort things out for her new-found mom. All in it’s an effective chiller with at least two killer jump out of your seat moments.

• 1nfluxmagazine.com: Another unexpectedly decent movie from Mr Uwe Boll. This is getting to become a habit! I would say this is the best I've seen from Uwe Boll.
• MediaMikes.com: I have always had a sweet spot for Uwe Boll's film but this is definitely one of his best. It is well shot and packs some solid suspense.

They Crawl Beneath is een film die letterlijk en figuurlijk onder je huid kruipt en krioelt, vleesgeworden horror die maximale gruwel put uit z’n locaties, acteurs en special fx.
