James Wright is a British Wing Commander sent in on a last ditch effort mission to help the allied American and Filipino forces stave off the Japanese as they take control in the bloody Battle of Bataan and solidify their stronghold on Southeast Asia. As the sole survivor of his mission, Wright is taken prisoner and brought to a POW camp, where he is to await deployment into the "death march" across the island. When the Japanese leader of the camp, Lt. Colonel Ito, discovers that Wright was trained to fight traditionally in Tokyo prior to the war, he begins to test the prisoner’s will by forcing him to repeatedly fight for his life against Ito’s most skilled warriors. Ito grows frustrated as Wright’s spirit, nor his back can be broken, as he defies the odds against him, and stirs hope back into his fellow prisoners’ will to survive.

Reviews
  • Blu-ray.com: Scott Adkins and Wade Barrett perform admirably, straightforward, largely, but carrying themselves and their characters satisfactorily well. Recommended.
  • Bobafett1138: Really one that's well worth your time.
Bulletproofaction.com: Scott Adkins delivered another top notch performance and added to his already impressive filmography of action movies.
  • Goodefficientbutchery.blogspot.nl: Adkins brings his A-game to this and once again shows he's ready for bigger things.
  • Roguecinema.com: the plot isn't the drawing point of these films, it's the action scenes, and Eliminators does deliver the goods here.
  • Theschlockpit.com"Eliminators is resolutely British, and with some awesome sequences set within the nation's capital city, like a couple of cool car chases and an immense bit of cable car combat, London is close to being the star of the picture. Adkins, as always, put his soul into this.

Reviews
  • Anygoodfilms.com: Take Cover admirably demonstrates yet again Scott Adkins action star credentials are beyond reproach and far above many of his contemporaries.
  • Avforums.com: High concept action romp that delivers the goods.
  • Bloodbrothersfilms.com: It's highly entertaining, moves like lightning, and never loses sight that the action and narrative must serve its concept.
  • Blu-ray.com: Blasts of action do register as intended. Adkins also receives a chance to show off his thespian skills, handling the complexity of Sam with care.
  • Bulletproofaction.com: Take Cover has all the elements that will appeal to the action crowd, but plenty of other strong points that may appeal to a larger audience.
  • Eyeforfilm.co.uk: Engaging characters and expertly delivered action. Adkins does a remarkably good job of making Sam feel like a real, genuinely troubled human. Take Cover is nicely put together and a lot of fun to watch.
  • Gazettely.com: Tight, suspenseful direction from McKinless within a single setting. Adkins owns the leading role with action prowess and nuanced drama.
  • Markreviewsmovies.com: Effective as a suspenseful thriller with bursts of brutal action and a compelling lead performance.
  • Voicesfromthebalcony.com: an enjoyable action film that should lead to more director's gigs for McKinless.
